Here at St. Paul's on Broadway ~ “We Are Followers of Christ and Partners in God’s Work”
Visit us at 1240 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331

Our mission as a community of faith is to spread the love of God to our neighbors - both locally and across the globe. In this way we are friends and followers of Christ- for we are following his commandment. "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. You are my friends if you do what I command you."-John 15:12 & 14.  We are challenged ,blessed and empowered to love one another by God's Spirit.

We can answer God's call and engage in this mission only because of God's generous grace and the gift of faith that has been shared with us. Our faith is grounded in Holy Scripture, shaped by the working of the Holy Spirit through The Creeds of the universal Church and the Lutheran Confessions and nourished by God's grace shared with us in the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. Our Faith is lived out in a community of prayer, Christian friendship, and compassionate service  to those in need.

Our church is one congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The ELCA  is the largest Lutheran church body in the United States. Regionally we are blessed to be a part of the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the ELCA. Please Pray for all of our ordained pastors, commissioned and installed leaders, for those who are called to serve as Missionaries and for Elizabeth and Jim- our Bishops.
